Denny's Deluxe Easiest Ever Chocolate Cake

1. 1 box of devil's food cake mix
2. 1 small box of "cook and serve" chocolate pudding
3. 2 cups milk
4. chocolate chips
5. walnuts (optional)
6. serve with cool whip

Mix milk and pudding mix in a medium pot and cook on low to medium heat until slightly thickened. Add just the cake mix to pudding and stir – batter will be thick. Spread into a 9 x 13 cake pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top – bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Allow to cool, and serve with cool whip.
