Old Fashioned Beef Stew
- 5 pound boneless chuck roast cut into bite-size pieces
- 5 pounds potatoes diced
- 1 pound carrots diced
- 2 pounds yellow onions diced
- salt, pepper, garlic to taste
- celery seed optional
- Oil for browning
- Flour to coat meat
Season meat. Coat with flour. Brown in oil. Place meat and vegetables in large pot. Cover with water and cook until meat is tender. dibm
