Savoury Loaf
- 3 oz Soy Mince
- 1 oz Sweetcorn, tinned Drained
- 1 item Tomato. Plum, Tinned Finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp Potato, Instant Mash, Cheese &
- Onion (Smash)
- 1 oz Peas, Garden
- 1 Egg, Whole, Beaten
- 2 oz Breadcrumbs
- 1 oz Flour, Plain
- 1 tsp Marmite (Yeast Extract spread)
- pinch Ground Black Pepper
- pinch Salt
- pinch Celery Salt
- 1/2 Onion, Finely chopped
Make up a small amount of vegetarian gravy and soak the Soy Mince for 30 mins. Drain. Soften the onion in a saucepan with a little oil. Add all the other ingredients and blend thoroughly while heating gently. Grease a loaf tin and pour contents in. Cover with greased foil or greaseproof paper. Cook for 45 minutes at 190 deg C. Remove cover and cook for a further 15 mins. Serve with boiled potatoes, cabbage/peas, any other preferred vegetables and vegetarian gravy.
