Cheese Steak Sandwich
- 1 pound deli thinly sliced roast beef can use Steakums but they are really
- greasy
- 2 medium onions, sliced thin
- 1 or 2 green bell peppers, sliced thin
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced
- Fresh mushrooms, sliced thin optional
- Yellow cheese, either Velveeta or American cheese slices
- Hoagie rolls
- Salt and pepper to taste (I don't use extra salt or pepper)
- Olive or vegetable oil
Saute the sliced onions, bell peppers, garlic and mushrooms in a bit of oil until tender. Add the beef and sauti hot. Place on a hoagie bun, top with cheese and place in the oven on 375: for about 2 minutes or until the cheese melts. If you cook the whole pound, just refrigerate the leftovers and heaten up later for more sandwiches. Jan
