Quick Pickled Beets
- 1 can beets, drain, save liquid
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup liquid from the can of beets
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 whole cloves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 peppercorns
- 1/4 bay leaf
Drain the beets and save liquid. Combine ingredients with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Pour over drained beets and chill. This is a quick and very easy recipe and is yummy, enjoy, Helen Burke
