Quick Pickled Beets

  1. 1 can beets, drain, save liquid
  2. 1/2 cup vinegar
  3. 1/2 cup liquid from the can of beets
  4. 2 Tbsp sugar
  5. 2 whole cloves
  6. 1/2 tsp. salt
  7. 3 peppercorns
  8. 1/4 bay leaf

Drain the beets and save liquid. Combine ingredients with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Pour over drained beets and chill. This is a quick and very easy recipe and is yummy, enjoy, Helen Burke
